Preschool 2.5-4 Years
Preschool classes provide age appropriate activities that draw from curriculum areas of art, math, science, cooking, music and movement, dramatic play, language arts, and manipulative activities. There is a focus on teaching children respect and responsibility for others, themselves, classroom and shared space as well as the values of empathy, sharing, and giving. A balanced approach to nurturing active minds, healthy bodies, and learning to be independent is implemented.
Curriculum:
Introduction to letter recognition, phonics, social skills, and language development
Development of self-help skills and encourage development of positive self esteem
Discovery of our world through developmentally appropriate activities in the areas of social studies and science

Child's play is a child's work. We have developed three stimulating environments for all preschool children to make choices as they explore all of our learning areas and developmentally appropriate materials.

Pre K 4-5 Years
Pre-K provides a stimulating and enriching environment. There is a combination of whole group and small group learning activities that allows the children to develop as cooperative learners. Pre-K children are nurtured emotionally, socially, and academically to achieve their potential and feel valued as learners. Teaching children respect and responsibility for others, themselves, classroom and shared space. Establishing and sustaining long lasting positive relationships. Develop the skill of more independent learning and advanced problem solving

Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
TK is designed to be a bridge from preschool to kindergarten. For children who have been in a preschool environment for several years and/or children whose birthday is near the kindergarten cut-off date, this class offers the "Gift of Time" to develop children socially, emotionally, and academically to be better prepared for kindergarten. It is our goal that our TK students will leave our program with social and emotional confidence and be better prepared academically to begin their school years. Our TK program provides a strong foundation for a successful transition into Kindergarten.
